Active clinical trials: Many ophthalmologists at Rush are also researchers who test and evaluate new treatments for macular degeneration, uveitis (eye inflammation), corneal dystrophies and infections, cancer-related eye symptoms and other eye conditions. At any given time, we have multiple clinical trials under way. You may be able to participate in these trials of new treatments, as well as benefit from the knowledge we gain from this research.
